OUR ENGAGEMENT STORY

Our story begins with the recombination of electrons and protons to electrically neutral hydrogen one microsecond after the big bang. Some of this hydrogen later became water and some of that water later ended up on the coast of Santa Barbara.

Billions of years later, Anthony & Jessica embarked on a sailing trip in that water.

After receiving their sailing certifications a month prior, they were ready to test the waters on their own. Anthony chose the sailboat on which he planned to propose. It turned out to be a racing sailboat that heeled at 45-degrees the entire time. Too scared the ring would fall in the water, Anthony waited until safe on land where he celebrated survival and asked Jessica to tie the knot. She said yes.
